AFRL hosts student satellite competition

Students from around the country are in Albuquerque this weekend competing for the chance to send a satellite to space. Teams from 10 universities from Los Angeles to Boston are participating in the Flight Competition Review on Sunday and Monday at Kirtland Air Force Base. They will give presentations on potential military applications of their satellites and be judged by officials from the Department of Defense and NASA. After this weekend’s review, five schools will move on to the next phase of the competition. More
